Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW sets a target of 2 million businesses in Vietnam by 2030, while currently there are only over 900,000. This requires each locality to at least double the number of businesses in the next 4-5 years. Simultaneously, Resolution 57-NQ/TW emphasizes the development of innovation, technology, and high-intellectual-content products to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in regional and international markets.
To achieve these two major national goals, the role of experts, advisors, and startup lecturers becomes particularly important, with the following responsibilities:
• Encouraging and advising on the establishment of new businesses;
• Supporting young business leaders in building their organizations and developing markets;
• Connecting resources, advising on products, brands, markets, and capital;
• Contributing to the formation of a strong and sustainable startup ecosystem in each locality, school, and organization.
With this particularly important role, the National Startup Association recently organized the first National Startup Instructor Training Course with 147 participants, including entrepreneurs, founders, lecturers, and experts from various organizations. On November 28th, after nearly four months of intensive study with over 40 in-person and online sessions, the first course held its graduation ceremony, and 60 outstanding participants were recognized as National Startup Experts.
The success of the first course provides an important foundation for the Association to continue implementing the second course with a larger scale, content, and improved training quality.
The program is positioned as a strategic initiative, directly addressing the urgent need for high-quality human resources in Vietnam's startup ecosystem. This is necessary in the context of the nation having clearly identified entrepreneurship and innovation as core drivers for socio-economic development, and as a measure of national competitiveness. The long-term national goal is to create a knowledge-based economy, deeply integrated, requiring a strong shift in the structure of the production forces.
1.2. Purpose, Significance and Training Objectives
